National Digital Trust Company (In Organization) has received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to open as a federally chartered trust bank to provide a broad range of digital asset services.

We are building a specialized financial institution addressing the growing demand for digital asset services. Our primary business will focus on digital asset custody, providing secure, efficient custodial and fiduciary services for a variety of digital assets.

You will work with foundational systems and processes to help shape our operating model and influence how a new category of financial infrastructure comes to market.

Job Overview

The Manager of Digital Asset Operations is responsible for the end-to-end management of NDTC client digital assets, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient execution across platforms, systems, and business lines.

This role partners across Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to scale digital asset activities while maintaining strong governance and control. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to optimize processes, support innovation, and align operations with business objectives.

Operational Leadership and Strategy

• Develop and execute NDTC’s digital asset operation strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations
• Oversee daily operations related to NDTC client digital assets, including onboarding, custody, transfers, settlements, reconciliation, and reporting
• Experience leading or coordinating with marketing, IT, content, and customer service teams

• Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable operational processes and workflows
• Ensure operational readiness for new digital asset products, platforms, or partners

• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align priorities and provide updates

 Governance, Risk & Compliance 

• Establish and maintain operational controls aligned with regulatory, legal, and internal risk requirements
• Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and policies
• Develop incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans for digital asset operations

Technology & Infrastructure

• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and IT teams to support wallets, custody solutions, blockchain integrations, and supporting systems
• Oversee vendor selection and management for custody, trading, analytics, and monitoring tools
• Ensure operational resilience, system uptime, and data integrity

Financial & Performance Management

• Monitor operational KPIs, SLAs, and risk metrics
• Drive cost efficiency while maintaining high operational standards
• Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit requirements related to digital assets

Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing digital asset operations team
• Define roles, responsibilities, and coverage models to support 24/7 or global operations if required
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Strategic Contribution

• Serve as a key operational advisor to senior leadership on digital asset strategy and scalability
• Support product launches, partnerships, and expansion into new asset types or markets
• Identify operational risks and opportunities tied to new technologies, regulations, or market conditions

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with digital asset custody, wallets, or blockchain infrastructure
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data protection standards
• Ability to operate in fast‑paced, evolving regulatory and technology environments
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
