Summary: The Manager, School Engagement & Campaign Execution supports the growth and success of the Dare to Dream Campaign, with a focus on school-based fundraising and day-to-day campaign execution. This role drives implementation by supporting schools, managing campaign operations, and ensuring strong execution across key campaign activities. 

This role works closely with the Senior Director, Dare to Dream, supporting execution and helping bring campaign strategy to life. The role also partners closely with the Manager, Strategy & P2P Growth to align school efforts with broader campaign priorities. 

This is a growing and evolving campaign, requiring someone who brings experience while staying flexible, open-minded, and ready to build and improve as the program scales. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Mission Integration 

  • Support delivery of a mission-focused Dare to Dream Schools campaign within schools
  • Ensure mission messaging is reflected in school engagement and campaign materials
  • Connect student fundraising efforts to impact and purpose
  • Reinforce a positive and meaningful experience for schools and participants 

Fundraising & Relationship Building 

  • Lead execution of school-based fundraising efforts to support Dare to Dream revenue goals, coordinating closely with temporary staff supporting outreach and implementation
  • Support participation, engagement, and fundraising growth within schools
  • Oversee onboarding, engagement, and ongoing support for participating schools
  • Translate strategy into clear plans and guide day-to-day execution within the school channel
  • Oversee reporting, tracking, and data accuracy for school campaigns
  • Support national school pipeline growth, recruitment, and retention efforts
  • Build relationships with school partners and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate communications, incentives, and stewardship for school participants
  • Partner with internal teams to align priorities, workflows, and execution of temporary staff support
  • Collaborate with the Dare to Dream Strategy & P2P Manager to align school efforts with broader campaign strategy

Volunteer & Internal Management

  • Ensure work is organized, prioritized, and executed effectively across teams
  • Serve as a key point of contact for school and campaign-related questions
  • Partner across teams to maintain alignment and progress
  • Support execution of volunteer engagement efforts within schools
  • Ensure participants and volunteers have clear direction, resources, and support
  • Support onboarding and coordination of temporary staff supporting outreach and fundraising 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–6 years of experience in campaign execution, program management, or school/youth engagement

Work Environment & Physical Demands: 

  • Weekend & evening work may be required on occasion
  • Travel: approximately 10–15%
  • Work environment and physical demands are consistent with similar roles

We are excited to share the base pay range for this non-exempt, hourly paid position is $33/hr ($60K/yr) to $44/hr ($80K/yr). The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Blood Cancer United we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
