The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Founding Machine Learning Engineer to help us push the boundaries of generative video. You’ll work across multiple modalities (text to imagery to video) and play a key role in training, deploying, and scaling models that power magical user experiences.
You’ll be hands-on with the full stack of model development and deployment, from fine-tuning diffusion models to optimizing inference in production. You should apply if you’ve shipped ML features that real users love and want to keep doing it in a fast-moving, product-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
Train, fine-tune, and deploy generative models across multiple modalities
Optimize model inference performance across diverse hardware and latency budgets
Own infrastructure for serving ML models in production
Work closely with product and engineering to bring AI features to life in the app
Debug edge cases across the stack and sometimes jump into product code to unblock yourself
Help shape the technical direction of ML at Hypernatural
What We’re Looking For
You’ve trained and shipped real models to real users
You’ve worked outside of big-company infra and know how to build scrappy, production-ready systems
You’re comfortable with diffusion models (and have likely fine-tuned one)
You have strong opinions about how to host and optimize large models in production
You’re product-minded and willing to work cross-functionally to get things done
You thrive in ambiguity and value fast feedback and iteration
