The Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture Program Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex mergers, acquisition, and divestiture initiatives for Raytheon’s Digital Technology organization. This role is responsible for driving disciplined, repeatable MA&D processes that support efficient deal execution, accelerate integration, and maximize value capture. The ideal candidate brings strong program management expertise, cross‑functional leadership experience, and a deep understanding of the MA&D lifecycle from diligence through post‑close execution.


The position partners closely with cross-business functions, RTX Corporate Digital Enterprise Services, and stakeholders to drive efficient execution of M&A transactions to ensure successful integration and separation outcomes.


What You Will Do

  • Lead end‑to‑end program management for acquisition and divestiture activities, including diligence, integration planning, Day 1 readiness, and post‑close execution

  • Support due diligence activities by assessing technology environments, risks, costs and integration or separation complexity

  • Create and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, issue logs, risk registers, program budgets and resource forecasts

  • Drive execution of integration and separation activities across multiple DT functional teams

  • Facilitate alignment across functional workstreams, ensuring clear accountability, resource allocation, and timely delivery

  • Support executive steering committees with reporting, risks, dependencies, and decision escalation

  • Coordinate change impacts, stakeholder communications, and readiness activities for Day 1 through integration

  • Communicate with potential buyers / sellers in effort to support negotiations, align requirements and co-create solutions for DT services to meet contractual/legal requirements

  • Build strong partnerships with functional leaders to ensure consistent execution across deals

  • Develop and deliver clear, concise updates for executives and cross‑functional teams

  • Contribute to the development and continuous refinement of scalable MA&D toolkits, templates, and processes

  • Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and technology enablement

  • Ensure lessons learned are captured and integrated into future playbooks

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

  • 10+ years of program management or transformation experience, with at least 3-5 years leading/supporting M&A and divestitures  

  • Experience leading and overseeing organizationally matrixed teams to align requirements, develop workplans, and budgets

  • Experience with enterprise technology environments, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP, applications, and digital workplace services

  • Experience with financial modeling concepts to support one time cost estimates and synergy estimation

  • Experience working with corporate development, private equity, or strategic investment organizations

  • Experience leading continuous improvement of processes in collaboration with key stakeholders in the business and functions

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience leading technology carve-out and separations in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, manufacturing, healthcare, or energy

  • Experience developing Transition Services Agreements (TSAs), including TSA scoping, service definition, cost estimation, and exit planning

  • Experience leading teams of M&A professionals, program managers and external contractors

  • Ability to handle and process company sensitive information

  • Familiarity with integration management office (IMO) and separation management office (SMO) operating models and governance frameworks

  • Experience communicating with potential buyers / sellers in efforts to support negotiations, align requirements and co-create solutions for IT services to meet contractual/legal requirements

  • Certifications: PMP, PgMP, Prosci, or similar methodology training

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑workstream initiatives with executive visibility

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and structured problem‑solving skills

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities

  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
