Logistics Officer

Through our online auction platform, we offer over 15.000 vehicles per week, sourced from leading fleet owners, leasing and rental companies, as well as banks and dealerships.

We are looking for a well-organized automotive/logistics enthusiast who loves new challenges and will help us to scale our NEW logistics department! We value commitment, loyalty, and dedication. • You have a Highschool degree.
• You are fluent in English and French other languages such as Portuguese, German, Spanish or Russian are a plus.
• A relevant work experience or afinity in the field of automotive is a must.
• Relevant work experience in the field of logistics or operations is highly appreciated.
• Analytical skills and an eye for details.
• Experience in reviewing (shipping) invoices and documents.
• Communication and negotiation skills.
• Energetic, innovative, enjoying new challenges.

• Follow up on transport quote requests to ensure clients receive answers quickly.
• Create and send proformas, verify incoming payments and issue invoices.
• Ensure all payments are processed on time.
• Play a key role in the developement of our delivery service by active warm calls.
• Be the liaison between our clients and our transport partners.
• Monitoring vehicle transport and delivery ensuring timeliness and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Check completeness of shipping documents required to comply with European VAT regulations.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with all regulations and laws as well as with internal procedures.
• Assist in the planning and execution of logistics activity when required: plan vehicle pickups accordingly to priorities, organize truck drivers and vehicles pickup, arrange smooth in-fleet process.
• Verification of vehicle quality control checklists.
• Help with repairs operations and claims procedures if required.
• Manage and follow up missing pickup autorizations for cars to be collected.
• Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager
• Assistance to administration if necessary.
