About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a strong background in U.S. freight operations. This position is only for candidates who have worked for a U.S.-based freight brokerage or third-party logistics (3PL) company.

The ideal candidate is highly experienced in sourcing capacity through DAT and Truckstop, negotiating competitive freight rates, and managing shipments from pickup through delivery. If you do not have hands-on experience working in the U.S. trucking and logistics industry, this position is not a good fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and secure carrier capacity using DAT Load Board and Truckstop.

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers and customers while maximizing profitability.

• Coordinate shipments from pickup through final delivery.

• Track loads and proactively resolve delays, service issues, or exceptions.

• Maintain consistent communication with carriers, customers, and internal teams.

• Update shipment statuses and maintain accurate records in the TMS.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working for a U.S.-based freight brokerage or 3PL company.

• Must be highly proficient in using both DAT and Truckstop. Applicants should be comfortable searching for trucks, posting loads, evaluating carriers, and negotiating rates on these platforms.

• Strong understanding of the U.S. trucking and freight brokerage industry.

• Experience negotiating rates with carriers and customers.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office.

Work Schedule

• Saturday through Wednesday

• Night Shift (U.S. Business Hours)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using transportation management systems (TMS).

• Knowledge of lanes, market rates, and carrier sourcing strategies.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced logistics environment.
