Join an established, highly regarded Australian mortgage broking firm as a Loan Processor, working fully remotely with a supportive team and genuine room to grow as the business scales. This role supports the broking team across the full loan lifecycle, from application through to settlement and post-settlement, preparing and managing mortgage applications, gathering and verifying documentation, and keeping clients and lenders moving smoothly toward approval. You will work across CRM systems and everyday office tools to keep files accurate, compliant and on track. The ideal person is detail focused, highly organized, and a warm, conversational communicator who clients enjoy hearing from.
Key Responsibilities
Assist brokers in reviewing and preparing loan applications.
Collect and verify supporting documentation from clients and third parties.
Liaise with lenders to monitor application status and help expedite approvals.
Respond to client enquiries and provide timely, clear updates on application progress.
Manage loan files and keep the CRM accurate and up to date throughout the process.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Support the broking team with administrative tasks related to loan processing as required.
Conduct post-settlement check-ins with clients.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience within an Australian mortgage broking business, ideally in loan processing or an end-to-end support role.
A sound understanding of the Australian mortgage process from application through to settlement, and of lender requirements.
Preferably a bachelor’s degree.
Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience with SalesTrekker 2.0 or another Australian mortgage CRM is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Excellent organization and time management, able to juggle competing priorities.
A warm, conversational and personable communication style that clients respond to.
Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Demonstrated employment stability, with a preference for candidates who have remained with previous employers for approximately one year or more.
A genuine interest in establishing a long-term career within our business and growing alongside the team.
Stable work-from-home setup (reliable internet, laptop or desktop, quiet workspace), able to work Australian business hours.
