Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based technology company modernizing warehouse operations and analytics through custom-built software and cloud-native solutions. Their engineering team is developing both a next-generation Warehouse Management System (WMS) and a data analytics platform that support critical operational workflows and business intelligence.
We're looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to establish and lead the automation strategy across both products. You'll help replace manual regression testing with scalable automated quality processes, working closely with engineering teams to improve release confidence, accelerate delivery, and ensure the reliability of complex business-critical applications.
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to shape testing practices, automation frameworks, and quality standards from the ground up.
Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
Build and expand automated test coverage across web applications, APIs, and backend services.
Develop unit, integration, and component testing strategies alongside engineering teams.
Create and maintain API test suites using Bruno, Postman, or similar tools.
Validate data-heavy applications, dashboards, and reporting functionality.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish release quality gates.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Support testing efforts during platform migrations, data validation, and large-scale system changes.
Drive QA best practices, automation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
6+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Test Engineering.
Strong experience building automated test frameworks for modern web applications.
Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar end-to-end testing frameworks.
Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills.
Experience testing React applications.
Experience with API testing tools such as Bruno, Postman, or equivalent.
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud-based applications and distributed systems.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced English required.
Familiarity with AI tools.
Experience testing warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics, or operational software.
Experience validating analytics platforms, dashboards, or data-driven applications.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with performance or load testing.
Experience supporting large migration or modernization projects.
