The graduate experience

As a Lifecheq graduate, you’ll be part of a structured 12-month development programme designed to give you hands-on experience across our technical, financial, and product teams, which will set you up for a full-time remote working role at Lifecheq at the end of the programme. You’ll:

• Learn to build intelligent financial tools and client applications using Clojure, ClojureScript, and TypeScript
• Collaborate with designers and financial experts to create user-friendly, impactful digital solutions
• Develop and refine models that drive financial advice, pricing, and risk decisions
• Participate in market research and contribute to innovative product ideas
• Be mentored by experienced team members and supported by a personal development plan tailored to fast-track your growth

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for smart, curious, and mission-driven individuals who are ready to jump in and grow. You should be:

• In your final year of study in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline
• Excited to learn coding and/or already familiar with languages like Python, R, Clojure, or TypeScript
• Analytical, data-literate, and eager to solve real-world problems
• Passionate about financial wellbeing, inclusion, and innovation
