"At HCO, faith and clinical excellence walk together. If you are a licensed therapist who believes your faith is a calling and your credentials are your craft — we built this role for you."

ABOUT HCO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

HCO Behavioral Health is a growing multi-location behavioral health practice serving Louisiana and Texas. We provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals, families, and children — with a growing focus on faith-integrated care. Our mission is to remove barriers to healing, honoring the whole person: spirit, mind, and body.

We are expanding our team of licensed Christian counselors to meet the strong and growing demand for faith-informed therapy across our service areas.

THE ROLE

As a Licensed Christian Counselor at HCO, you will provide individual and family therapy to clients who want their faith honored in the therapeutic process. You are not a pastoral counselor — you are a fully licensed clinician who integrates faith-based approaches alongside evidence-based methods.

This is a purpose-driven role for a therapist who wants to build a meaningful caseload, be well-supported, and grow within a faith-affirming practice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide individual, family, and couples therapy with a faith-integrated approach
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Bill services via insurance (BCBS, UHC, Aetna, Medicaid) and self-pay
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR system (SimplePractice or equivalent)
  • Collaborate with the care team for referrals, care coordination, and client support
  • Participate in optional peer consultation and staff development
  • Build therapeutic relationships with clients across diverse faith backgrounds — all are welcome
