Legal Solutions Attorney

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Solutions Attorney to help our in-house legal customers put AI to work in their everyday practice. This role spans three parts of our Legal Solutions organization: building the training and enablement content that helps customers and our own GTM teams get up to speed, working hands-on with customers to solve real workflow problems, and acting as subject matter experts alongside sales.

This is an ideal role for attorneys who want to combine their legal skills with hands-on AI training and implementations. You will work directly with in-house legal teams to understand their workflows, translate that understanding into practical AI solutions, and help shape the product roadmap along the way. 

Our Legal Solutions organization supports the business in three areas:

• Academy: The educational engine of LegalOn. We build and refine internal enablement and customer-facing training so it scales with every product release.
• Customer Solutions: Consultative problem-solving for customers, from custom prompt engineering to playbook creation and workflow optimization.
• Go-to-Market: Partner with sales as subject matter experts, demonstrating LegalOn's value through pitches and demos tailored to real legal workflows.

What you'll do

AI Workflow Development

• Create prompts, playbooks, agents, and automations that address the everyday problems legal teams run into across contracting, counseling, and governance.
• Develop sample workflows and documents, spanning intake to review and final agreement, that showcase LegalOn's full platform capabilities.
• Curate a library of high-impact prompts, playbooks, and automations that demonstrate practical, day-to-day value to prospects and customers.

Customer Partnership

• Work closely with in-house legal teams to deeply understand their workflows, including contract review and management, negotiation, counseling, and compliance, and design practical AI solutions.
• Work alongside our customer success team to support customers post-launch, helping them get more value from the platform as their needs evolve.

Training and Adoption

• Lead workshops and training sessions for both customers and internal GTM teams that build confidence and drive adoption of AI in daily legal work.
• Be the face of LegalOn for in-house legal teams. Show up with real expertise and empathy so in-house legal teams trust us and see us as a partner, not just another vendor.

Sharing What We Learn with Product

• Bring what we hear from customers straight back to Product and Engineering, so what we build actually matches what legal teams need.
• Weigh in on product planning and priorities, especially as we roll out new AI tools, agents, and automations.

Using LegalOn on Ourselves

• Be part of our own legal team, putting LegalOn to work day-to-day. We're the first customer, so this is where we learn what actually works.
• Take what we learn internally and turn it into better guidance for prospects and customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience practicing law, including at least 1 year in-house, in legal ops, or in legal solutions helping in-house teams.
• Genuinely into AI — you've actually used it for legal work, implemented it on your team, and want to keep learning.
• Proven ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply knowledge creatively.
• Hands-on experience with legal tech tools (e.g., CLM, automation, or other legal software).
• Excellent client-facing skills: empathetic, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain and present complex ideas clearly.

Preferred:

• Experience designing or teaching training programs, workshops, or courses.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM-powered tools, or workflow automation.
• Background in legal innovation, knowledge management, or legal tech adoption.
• Strong community-building instincts, with an interest in connecting people and sharing knowledge.

Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. In addition to base pay, LegalOn offers equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
