OverviewRole specifics:
- Claims Background: Minimum of 5-10+ years adjusting an indemnity desk with litigation
- Jurisdictional Experience: MD, VA, DC
- Location: This role is eligible for remote work
How you'll make an impact- Supervise a small Workers Compensation team.
- Demonstrate significant claims handling skills and carry an individual case load delivering high quality and efficient service.
- Participate in adjuster hiring and training to nurture a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage workloads and motivate performance.
- Use Gallagher's technology to enhance your team's efficiency and quality.
- Communicate with clients, carriers and brokers in a professional, positive and proactive manner.
- Effectively manage multiple competing priorities, identify coaching opportunities and position team members for successful development.
About YouAs a key member of our experienced Claims Adjuster team, you will:
- Work in partnership with our workers compensation clients
- Take responsibility to make decisions
- Identify and deliver the right resources, at the right time and in the right place.
- Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize tasks to optimally serve clients and claimants
- Serve clients, effectively communicate and embrace new challenges to drive success
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 10 years hands-on workers compensation claims adjusting experience required including lost-time/indemnity and litigation
- Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
- Knowledge of all team member related functions
