Manage deployment-related travel activities for contract personnel while ensuring strict adherence to FAR, JTR, and Task Order requirements. Lead other travel coordinators and collaborate with program managers to facilitate efficient CONUS and OCONUS deployments.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lead Travel Coordinator to assist in managing other travel coordinators and managing all deployment-related travel activities for our contract personnel. This crucial role requires strict adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), and Task Order (TO) requirements. The Travel Coordinator will support mission requirements across the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS), ensuring our contract personnel are authorized, credentialed, and deployed efficiently and compliantly. This role is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure all travel plans and authorizations are fully compliant with FAR, JTR, and specific TO procedures.
- Process Improvement: Regularly review and update processes to align with evolving compliance standards and TO directives.
- Deployment Support: Manage travel and support activities related to personnel relocation and repatriation, ensuring alignment with established TO processes and procedures.
- Communication: Collaborate closely with Program Managers and travelers, maintaining constant lines of communication.
- Data Management: Manage data calls and provide detailed reports as required.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Apply strong communication skills to maintain and strengthen relationships with both internal stakeholders and subcontractor partners, ensuring superior customer service delivery.
- Microsoft Office Experience: Leverage the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word for documentation, Excel for tracking travel data, and Outlook for effective communication and scheduling with program managers and travelers.
- Support Tasks: Provide backup support to other areas and perform other assigned duties as necessary.
