Our client is looking for a Part-Time Ecommerce/Project Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of their growing online coffee business. They operate within the specialty coffee and ecommerce industry, building a strong digital presence while expanding their online customer experience and operational efficiency in recent years. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing ecommerce operations, project coordination, administrative support, and digital content management in a fast-paced remote environment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. They should have excellent English communication skills, be comfortable managing multiple priorities, and enjoy using data and technology to improve workflows and execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain products, collections, and services within Shopify.
- Keep ecommerce projects organized and progressing according to priorities.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure customer orders are processed and fulfilled accurately.
- Monitor order status and follow up with vendors when necessary.
- Respond to customer emails related to orders or general inquiries when required.
- Schedule and publish social media content across company platforms.
- Generate marketing and social media content using AI-powered tools.
- Assist with ongoing administrative and operational tasks.
- Maintain accurate information across ecommerce platforms.
- Support process improvements that enhance efficiency and organization.
- Track assigned tasks and provide regular status updates.
Requirements
- Experience supporting ecommerce operations.
- Previous experience working with Shopify.
- Experience scheduling and publishing social media content.
- Comfortable coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written communication for customer email support.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Ecommerce Assistant, Project Assistant, Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Ecommerce Coordinator, or similar role.
- Experience supporting online retail or ecommerce businesses.
- Familiarity with vendor coordination and order fulfillment processes.
- Comfortable using AI tools for content generation.
- Experience working remotely in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
