Lead Solutions Consultant – Aptean EAM & Patch OEE

Location: Remote – Europe (travel as required)

Aptean is looking for an experienced Lead Solutions Consultant (Pre-Sales) to join our Manufacturing and Asset-Centric Solutions sales organization in Europe. This role focuses on two strategic products: Aptean EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) and Patch OEE.

As a senior presales professional, you will work closely with Sales, prospects, and customers across Europe during the pre-sales cycle. You will lead discovery engagements, executive-level discussions, and value-based demonstrations, showing how Aptean’s AI-first, SaaS-based solutions help organizations improve asset reliability, maintenance effectiveness, operational efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness.

This is a pan-European, remote role, with customer-facing travel across Europe.

Role Overview

The Lead Solutions Consultant is responsible for defining and owning the solution strategy for Aptean EAM and Patch OEE throughout the pre-sales process. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers in asset-intensive and manufacturing-driven industries, translating complex operational challenges into measurable business outcomes.

Operating in an AI-first software environment, you will articulate how predictive insights, intelligent analytics, and data-driven decision-making enhance maintenance strategies, asset performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Every week brings variety — from delivering executive briefings to C-level stakeholders, to running in-depth discovery workshops, showcasing tailored product demonstrations, and supporting business case and value realization discussions for strategic European opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops and assessments to understand customer asset management, maintenance, and production performance challenges
  • Position Aptean EAM and Patch OEE as strategic, AI-enabled solutions that drive reliability, uptime, efficiency, and operational excellence
  • Design and deliver compelling, tailored software demonstrations aligned to customer processes and industry challenges
  • Clearly articulate the value of AI-driven capabilities such as predictive maintenance, performance analytics, and intelligent insights
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, and Executive leadership
  • Partner closely with Sales to define winning solution strategies and support deal execution
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Professional Services, and Customer Success to ensure solution alignment and smooth handover
  • Support RFP/RFI responses, value propositions, and business cases
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to other Solutions Consultants as a senior member of the presales team

Required Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant / Presales Consultant or senior functional consultant in enterprise software
  • Strong domain expertise in one or more of the following:
    • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
    • Maintenance and Reliability
    • Manufacturing Operations
    • OEE, MES, or Operational Performance solutions
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder presales engagements across different industries and geographies
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience in solution selling, value messaging, buying cycles, procurement processes, and pricing models
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently at executive and C-level
  • Analytical mindset with strong technical awareness and the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Experience working with AI-enabled or data-driven enterprise software is a strong advantage, including the ability to position AI as part of a broader operational value story
  • Comfortable working remotely while collaborating effectively with distributed European teams

Language Requirements

  • Fluent English – mandatory
  • Additional languages are a strong plus, particularly:
    • Swedish
    • Dutch
    • French
    • German

Location & Travel

  • Fully remote role, based anywhere in Europe
  • Willingness to travel across Europe for customer meetings, workshops, and events
  • Occasional international travel for company events such as Sales Kick-Off
