Lead SAP AMS Consultant

A Lead SAP Consultant at Argano is an experienced professional in the consulting family who provides expert advice and analysis in their field of proficiency. They lead activities related to their field of proficiency with clients and lead project management responsibilities related to their field of proficiency. They are responsible for delivering quality work independently on mid-size to large client projects and leading the activities of other consultants on project. They provide expert advice, guidance, and solutions related to technology and information systems. They are mentors to other consultants and lead the activities of consultants in complicated workstreams to deliver quality work that will drive customer satisfaction. They model excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead mid to large size and complex SAP IBP consulting projects simultaneously.
• Participate in the development and implement long-term client strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients within their workstream.
• Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and keep all parties informed about project progress, challenges, and changes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements.
• Provide expert advice on technology solutions and tools that can enhance the client's operations.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to source necessary hardware, software, or services.
• Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5-10 years of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) consulting experience.
• Preferred consulting experience in a similar role in a professional services firm or industry experience at a strategic level is required.
• Previous experience working in IT companies.
• In-depth knowledge of the technologies and systems relevant.

 TRAVEL:

• A willingness to accommodate a maximum of 50% of US travel.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:  

• SAP certification preferred.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Communication: proficient in English written and verbal communications.  Proven ability to work with clients by providing ongoing guidance and care on their user adoption journey.
• Knowledge: Understanding of various domains such as networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development, databases, etc. Familiarity with different operating systems and software applications.
• Strategic Thinking: Consultants II should have a strategic mindset and the ability to develop and execute project strategies. Understanding of business processes and how technology can be aligned with business goals.
• Client Engagement: Building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and understanding client needs are vital.
• Innovation: Contributing innovative ideas and solutions is important for addressing complex challenges.
• Financial Acumen: Understanding project budgets, profitability, and financial implications is important.
