We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Physician Recruiter to help us with this mission. The Team Lead will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting and will work with experienced physician recruiters to expand the efforts to attract top talent to the organization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Physician Recruiters, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure the successful sourcing, qualification, and placement of high-quality Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) across multiple specialties including Hospitalists, General Surgery, Telehealth, and Specialty Care while maintain the sourcing, recruiting and staffing of a region of 12 plus programs.
  • Mentor, coach, and onboard team members to elevate overall team capability and performance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for complex or escalated issues
  • Anticipate challenges and propose proactive solutions
  • Oversee the development of comprehensive job descriptions and marketing strategies to attract top-tier candidates
  • Supervise and refine the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Audit and optimize job postings across relevant platforms and online sources to maximize visibility and attract diverse, qualified applicants
  • Review resumes and conduct interviews for high-priority or leadership-level positions while providing support to team members in their recruiting activities
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions for operational efficiency
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with hiring goals, support business development, and identify opportunities for new or expanded services
  • Participate in and support new facility startup/launch processes by providing recruitment leadership and operational insight
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer data and recruitment metrics are maintained in the ATS and CRM systems
  • Serve as a liaison between recruiting, operations, and clinical leadership to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires
  • Facilitate continuous education and training for team members, including best practices in physician recruitment and compliance standards
  • Lead initiatives to enhance recruitment branding, candidate experience, and strategic outreach, leveraging tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and data-driven insight
  • Represent the recruiting team in meetings with various stakeholders in the absence of the Director of Physician Relations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Physician Sourcing and or Recruiting experience
  • 3+ years of vested experience with Rural Physicians Group as a Physician Recruiter
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and recruitment analytics
  • Proven ability to asses and assist in developing recruitment professionals while building a collaborative, performance-driven team culture
  • Strong technical proficiency with modern sourcing tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Skilled in analyzing workflows and identifying operational improvements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business software
  • Willingness and ability to travel for site visits, conferences, and client meetings as needed
  • CPRP certification through APPRR required
