Overview:
The client is a motivational speaker and trainer who delivers impactful
talks and workshops across corporate and educational sectors. He is seeking a
proactive Virtual Assistant to help streamline his business operations by
focusing on lead generation, blogging, and SEO-based content
support — enabling him to dedicate more time to strategy, speaking
engagements, and business growth.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead
Generation & Prospect Research
- Conduct
lead research primarily through LinkedIn and other relevant
platforms.
- Identify
potential clients, conference organizers, and event opportunities.
- Gather
and validate authentic contact details (email, company, role, etc.).
- Maintain
and update a lead database or CRM system.
- Support
in initiating email outreach or preparing lists for email
campaigns.
- Coordinate
with Courtney on potential event proposals or outreach follow-ups.
- Blogging
& SEO Content Management
- Draft
and publish SEO-optimized blog posts based on Courtney’s brand,
voice, and goals.
- Conduct
keyword research to improve visibility and ranking for relevant topics.
- Manage
blog posting on WordPress (formatting, scheduling, tagging, and
linking).
- Refresh
or repurpose existing content into optimized blog articles.
- Track
blog performance and recommend improvements for reach and engagement.
- Administrative
& Communication Support
- Send
end-of-day or end-of-week updates on completed tasks and pending
deliverables.
- Collaborate
closely with Courtney to ensure alignment of tone, goals, and brand
message.
- Maintain
organized documentation of leads, blogs, and ongoing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven
experience in lead generation, blog writing, and SEO
optimization.
- Proficiency
in LinkedIn research, email prospecting, and CRM management.
- Strong
understanding of WordPress for blog publishing and management.
- Excellent
written English and attention to detail in communication.
- Familiarity
with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner).
- Highly
organized, self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal
supervision.
Nice to Have:
- Experience
with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar).
- Basic
understanding of video content workflows for potential future
