Jacada Travel is an award-winning luxury tour operator designing tailor-made journeys for discerning travellers across Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Europe. Our reputation is built on the depth of our destination expertise, the strength of our supplier relationships, and a relentless focus on delivering extraordinary client experiences.
As we continue to grow, we are evolving how we source and contract our product. To support this shift, we are expanding our product team with three in-region Product Executives, one each for Asia Pacific, Latin America and Europe.
About the Role
The Product Executive is a brand-new role at Jacada, created to deepen our presence in region and to give our London-based Product Managers the capacity to focus on strategy, portfolio decisions and commercial negotiation. You will report directly to Latin America Product Manager in our London head office and act as their eyes, ears and feet on the ground.
Your initial focus will be on supporting an ongoing business-wide project: this will involve building and maintaining relationships with key commercial team members at Jacada’s key partners. Over time, the role will broaden to cover product administration, knowledge-base maintenance, in-region inspections, fam-trip execution and day-to-day product support for our London teams.
Act as the in-region point of contact for hotel partners and DMCs supporting Jacada’s product strategy.
Play an active role in partner negotiation to secure favourable commercial terms for Jacada.
Flag commercial opportunities and risks to your Product Manager in good time.
Manage the day-to-day upkeep of product data: imagery requests, website tweaks, copy adjustments and marketing requests.
Process and quality-check small product changes coming in from DMCs and hotels, escalating only what genuinely needs a Product Manager’s decision.
Act as the go-to product contact for marketing, supplying copy inputs, imagery and approvals on routine asks.
Maintain Jacada’s internal knowledge base for your region: building works, renovations, pool and restaurant closures, accessibility considerations, seasonal events (e.g. Songkran, Ramadan, Carnival), and other notes that affect client experience.
Capture and update internal “seller’s notes” on hotels and experiences — the kind of inside knowledge that prevents mis-sells and earns trust with our Travel Designers.
Help consolidate and triage in-bound updates from properties, DMCs and local government agencies to keep the Travel Design, Concierge and Operations teams informed.
Build and maintain warm, productive relationships with hotel GMs, sales contacts, concierges and DMC product teams across your region.
Travel in-region for hotel inspections and short, focused fam trips (typically several long-weekend trips per year rather than one long fam) to keep our product knowledge fresh and our relationships strong.
Stay close to what is opening, refurbishing and changing in your region, feeding insight back into the wider Product team.
Execute fam trip planning on behalf of the Product Manager: liaising with hotels and DMCs, building itineraries, managing logistics, briefing participants and following up on outputs.
Take ownership of the operational detail so Product Managers can focus on the vision, learning objectives and commercial agenda.
Be a knowledgeable, accessible product contact for Travel Designers, concierges and operations colleagues where time-zone overlap allows.
Support the on-boarding and training of new product joiners and help upskill the wider commercial team on your region.
Maintain a clear, up-to-date library of specials, value-adds and Jacada-exclusive amenities (complimentary upgrades, welcome amenities, late check-outs, etc.) so our teams can sell with confidence.
Run regular product, supplier and country reports, and prepare clean datasets for your Product Manager.
Provide first-pass observations on the numbers; deeper commercial analysis and portfolio decisions remain with the Product Manager.
Solid travel-industry experience, ideally with a DMC, hotel group or tour operator in a contracting, reservations or product role.
Hands-on experience with contracting, rates and allocations in either a DMC or Tour operator capacity.
Excellent attention to detail and genuine pride in clean, accurate, well-organised product data.
Strong written and spoken English, and confident communicating across cultures with hotels, DMCs and a UK-based team.
Self-starter mindset — able to work autonomously in your time zone, prioritise sensibly and flag things upwards before they become problems.
Based in your region with the right to work locally, and within reasonable reach of an international transport hub.
Genuine interest in luxury travel and a high standard for what “good” looks like for our clients.
Established hotel and DMC contacts in your region.
Multi-country expertise within your region.
Experience running fam trips or hotel inspections.
A genuinely interesting brief at the leading edge of how luxury tour operators are evolving their product model.
A small, senior, supportive product team that values expertise and ownership.
Competitive salary benchmarked to your local market, plus Jacada’s wider benefits package.
Meaningful in-region travel — inspections, partner visits and fam trips — not a desk-only role.
The chance to help shape a new function from the ground up, working directly with London-based Product Managers and Heads of Region.
