Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a Part-Time Project Coordinator. The Qualified candidate will support and facilitate the continued process of senior executive law enforcement governance with the NCIS LInX program in LInX Gulf Coast/ Rio Grande.
The position supports operations within the Gulf Coast/ Rio Grande regions, specifically Texas and New Mexico and is classified as a telecommuting role. Occasional travel of up to 25%.
This is a part time position requiring 25 hours per week.
Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide project management governance support to the other NCIS LInX regions in the eastern and western parts of the US as approved by the LInX Program Manager
- Outreach to local, state, tribal or federal agencies as approved by the NCIS LInX PMO
- Maintain liaison with partner agencies in assigned region
- Manage local issues and communications between agencies/users and the NCIS LInX PMO
- Provide Project Management support and LInX training
- Support the LInX Region Governance Board for periodic meetings as required and authorized by local governance
- Assist in resolution of issues/problems as they occur in furtherance of NCIS LInX PMO requirements
- Submit weekly status report to the LInX Program Manager and NCIS LInX PMO
- Process agency MOU’s between the Board of Governance Chairman and the NCIS LInX PMO
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 8 years of experience or a Masters degree with 6 years of experience or a high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Ability to work in or support operations within Texas and New Mexico.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with personnel at various levels across Department of Defense, Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement agencies.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a wide-ranging variety of requests from DoD, Federal, State and Local agency system users
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior law enforcement experience at the Federal, State, or Local level.
- Familiarity with Criminal Justice Information Systems.
- Knowledge of Department of Justice policies and procedures.
- Experience supporting or working with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service is a plus.
- Preferred candidate lives in either Texas or New Mexico.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
