About Aidapt
Aidapt is the operator's AI firm for MEA and APAC. We build the AI that our clients' businesses actually run on: businesses that make, move and sell real things, where the buyer is an operator rather than a CTO. Our approach is translation first, because the gap between AI and results is almost never the technology. It is the translation into work that people actually do.
We are a small, founder led firm with senior ambition. This role sits in our go to market team and reports directly to the Managing Partner.
The role in one line
You cut the video and run the publishing rhythm behind a founder led content engine that publishes every day across LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, Instagram and TikTok.
What you will actually do
Video, first and most of it. Around seven short form productions a week, each one distributed natively to YouTube Shorts, Instagram and TikTok. Vertical, subtitled, the point landed inside the first two seconds, cut to hold attention without gimmicks.
• Turn raw founder material into finished short form pieces: talking head recordings, voice notes, phone footage from client floors, warehouses and factories.
• Cut long recordings into several standalone clips, each one making a single point that stands on its own.
• Subtitles and captions, sound design, light motion graphics, cover frames.
• Work inside our locked visual identity. We have a design system with fixed colours, type and logo usage. Your job is to work inside it, not to invent a new look every week.
AI is part of the craft here, not a bonus.
Seven productions a week is only survivable if AI is doing the heavy, boring part of the work. We expect you to already work this way, and to get considerably better at it with us.
• Use AI to compress production time on real footage: transcription and transcript based editing, automatic captions, silence and filler word removal, audio cleanup and voice isolation, reframing to vertical, upscaling.
• Use AI to find the piece inside the raw material: pull the three usable moments out of a 40 minute unscripted recording, then apply your own judgement to which one actually earns a post.
• Use generative AI for support only: b-roll, supporting visuals, motion, cover frames. Never as the subject of the piece.
• Use AI on the social side too: drafting caption variants from what was actually said, summarising performance data, triaging comments for the ones that matter.
• Bring your own stack and your own opinions about it. We want to hear what you use, where it genuinely saves you an hour, and where it produces work you would throw away.
Where the line sits, and it is a hard line. The face is real and the voice is real. No AI avatars, no cloned voice, no synthetic presenter, ever. The opinions and the words are the founder's own: AI helps shape what he actually said, and never invents what he did not say. A candidate whose portfolio is mostly generated footage is not who we are looking for. AI is how the work gets made faster, not what the work is.
Publishing and the calendar.
• Own the publishing calendar in ClickUp. ClickUp is our single source of truth for content: every idea, every scheduled post, every published link and every number lives there.
• Upload natively to each platform in the format that platform wants. No cross posting with another platform's watermark on it.
• Publish on time, in the right slot, in the right format, without being chased.
Community and measurement.
• Watch comments and direct messages, and surface anything that looks like a real buyer conversation to the Managing Partner the same day. You flag them, he answers them.
• Log real performance against every published post: impressions, comments, saves, reposts. Real numbers only. An estimate is always labelled as an estimate.
• Bring one weekly read: what worked, what did not, and what we should be making more of.
What this role is not
• You are not the voice. The opinions, the stories and the words are the founder's. Our content process shapes his own words and never invents them. If you want a seat where you write the takes, this is the wrong seat.
• You are not running a company presence on every platform. The Aidapt company channel is LinkedIn only. The multi platform work is the founder's personal channel.
• This is not an engagement bait job. No manufactured urgency, no clickbait, no borrowed trend audio that would make an operator wince. Our audience is CFOs and COOs of real businesses and they can smell theatre from a distance.
• You will not get a finished brief every morning. You will get raw material and a calendar.
Who this is right for
Someone one to three years in who edits fast, finishes, and already has AI doing the parts of the job that should not take a human an hour. You would rather ship seven good pieces this week than one perfect piece this month. You are organised enough to run a calendar on your own. We are an AI first firm on our own operations, not only for clients, so this is a seat where working that way is the standard rather than an experiment.
Show us the work. A portfolio we can watch matters far more to us than a CV.
Requirements
Must have
• One to three years editing short form vertical video, with a portfolio or set of links we can watch.
• Fluent in at least one professional editing tool (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut) and one fast mobile first tool (CapCut or equivalent).
• Subtitling and caption work that reads cleanly with the sound off.
• Basic motion graphics and sound design: text animation, lower thirds, music beds, levels that do not clip.
• Hands on experience publishing natively to YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok, including what each one wants technically.
• Working knowledge of LinkedIn and X as publishing surfaces, including what a video post needs on each.
• Written English strong enough for hooks, captions and headlines. This is a written brand as much as a visual one.
• Organised. You can run a weekly publishing calendar and hit your slots without reminders.
• Comfortable working daily inside a project management system. We run ClickUp.
AI skills, required not optional
• You already use AI in your daily editing workflow and can show us exactly where. Transcription and transcript based editing, automatic captioning, silence and filler removal, audio cleanup, vertical reframing and upscaling are the baseline.
• You can take a long unscripted recording and use AI to find the usable moments in it, then decide for yourself which ones are worth cutting.
• You use AI for supporting visuals and b-roll, and you know when generated footage cheapens a piece rather than helping it.
• You use AI on the social side: caption and hook variants drafted from what was actually said, performance data summarised, comments triaged.
• You can name your stack, defend your choices, and tell us honestly where AI output is not good enough yet.
• You understand the hard line: no AI avatars, no cloned voices, no synthetic presenters, and no AI invented opinions. AI accelerates the work, it does not become the work.
Nice to have
• Experience editing for a founder or a personal brand rather than a product brand.
• Cover frame and carousel design.
• Some analytics literacy: reading a retention curve and spotting where viewers leave.
• Exposure to a B2B or professional services audience.
• Any experience building or automating a repeatable content workflow rather than editing one off pieces.
How we will assess you
1. Portfolio review. Three to five short form pieces you cut. For each one, tell us what you were given, what you did with it, and where AI did part of the work.
2. A paid test edit. We give you one real recording and a brief. You return two vertical cuts and a caption set within 48 hours, along with your tool list and the time it took you.
3. A conversation with the Managing Partner about the work, the weekly rhythm, your AI workflow, and what you would do in a week where the raw material is thin.
Working arrangement
• Full time, on a contract basis.
• Based in Karachi, working to a schedule that overlaps the Gulf business day.
Benefits
• Direct working access to the Managing Partner. On this seat you work with him every week, not through three layers.
• A real audience to learn on. You will see what an operator audience responds to, measured properly, week after week. Most editors at your level never get that feedback loop.
• An AI first firm that means it. We run our own operations on the tooling we sell, so you will work with AI video, design and publishing tools daily and get much sharper with them.
• Ownership from the start. This is the first dedicated production seat for the channel, so the rhythm and the standard become yours to hold.
