The Junior Key Account Manager supports the commercial management and profitable growth of key selective beauty retailers across Europe. This role is strongly sales and performance driven, with direct exposure to sell in, sell out, margin levers, trade investment, and inventory management.

Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager, the role contributes to revenue delivery, forecast accuracy, stock health, and promotional effectiveness across assigned accounts. The position requires strong commercial acumen, comfort working with financial data, and the ability to translate retail performance into clear actions.


This is a hands-on role at the intersection of sales, supply chain, and trade marketing, designed for someone who wants to build a solid foundation in key account management and P&L ownership within a fast paced international beauty environment.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales Execution
  • Support the execution of annual and quarterly account plans aligned with revenue, margin, and SI/SO objectives.
  • Partner with the Senior Key Account Manager on SI negotiations, launch phasing, and account forecasts.
  • Track sales performance versus targets by retailer, market, and door, identifying risks and upsides. Provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support revenue driving initiatives across core assortment, new launches, and promotional periods.
Inventory, Forecasting & Stock Management
  • Actively support demand forecasting, order planning, and replenishment accuracy in collaboration with retailer planning teams and brand central teams.
  • Monitor stock on hand, weeks of cover, and sell through to ensure healthy inventory levels and cash flow protection.
  • Identify overstock and underperformance risks and support mitigation plans including order rephasing, promotions, RTVs, or assortment adjustments.
  • Liaise with global Operations to manage allocations, shipment timing, and launch readiness.
Trade Investment & Execution Support
  • Coordinate with Trade Marketing, VM, and Marketing teams to ensure account plans are executed on time and within budget.
  • Track and control trade spend, promotional investment, and co-op budgets at account level and liaise with marketing team on allocated budgets
  • Support promotional planning with a clear ROI mindset, linking spend to expected sell out and productivity.
  • Assist in post promotion analysis and performance reviews to inform future commercial decisions.
  • Support the rollout of in store activations, GWPs, digital campaigns, and launch toolkits across retailers.
  • Ensure commercial readiness for launches including pricing, assortments, stock availability, and sell in timing.
Business Analysis & P&L Discipline
  • Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly performance reports covering sell in, sell out, productivity per door, and category performance.
  • Support business reviews with clear insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct basic gap analysis and scenario planning to support forecast updates and support actionable decision making.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of accruals, deductions, and commercial conditions.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in key account support, sales operations, commercial roles, or retail management, ideally within wholesale beauty, wellness or FMCG.
  • Proven exposure to European selective beauty retailers such as Sephora, Douglas, Boots, or equivalent.
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset with an interest in P&L mechanics, inventory management, and trade investment.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence working with sales and financial data.
  • Organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across accounts and markets.
  • Fluent in English, additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to operate effectively in a remote, international -environment.
  • Candidates must be based in Europe for consideration.
