Job Title: Junior Frontend Engineer

Summary
We’re looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer to help build clean, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that make our products easy and enjoyable to use. In this role, you’ll work closely with designers, product partners, and experienced engineers to deliver high-quality features while growing your skills through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain user-facing features using modern frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and pixel-consistent interfaces.
• Write clear, testable, and maintainable code following team standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers and product partners to clarify requirements and estimate effort.
• Integrate frontend components with APIs and backend services under guidance from senior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews—asking questions, learning from feedback, and improving implementation quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug UI issues across browsers and devices; propose and implement fixes.
• Contribute to documentation and shared component patterns to support team consistency and speed.
• Monitor and improve performance (load times, rendering, bundle size) with support from the team.

Must-Have Qualifications
• 0–2 years of experience building web interfaces through internships, projects, bootcamps, or professional roles.
• Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Familiarity with Git and basic development workflows (branching, pull requests).
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Basic awareness of accessibility best practices (semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, ARIA fundamentals).
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn through feedback and collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• TypeScript experience or interest in adopting it.
• Experience with component libraries or design systems (e.g., Storybook, Material UI, Chakra UI).
• Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Knowledge of build tooling (Vite, Webpack) and package managers (npm, yarn, pnpm).
• Exposure to performance and observability tools (Lighthouse, Sentry).
• Understanding of basic security concepts for the frontend (XSS prevention, safe rendering).
