Position Title: Junior Data Analyst 

Location: LATAM

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to help transform raw data into clear insights that support business decision-making and operational performance. The ideal candidate has strong foundational analytical skills, familiarity with structured data, and an eagerness to learn how to develop reports, dashboards, and basic data models.

You will work alongside experienced data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy while learning to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement. 

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating data from primary and secondary sources to ensure consistency and quality.
  Create and update basic reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to track key business metrics.

• Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to retrieve, aggregate, and analyze dataset information.

• Support cross-functional teams and stakeholders by gathering initial reporting requirements and helping translate data into actionable insights.

• Participate in data reconciliation tasks to help resolve data quality issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related coursework/internship background.
  Foundational to intermediate proficiency in SQL (joins, group by/aggregations, basic subqueries, and familiarity with CTEs).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, basic data analysis).

• Basic understanding of relational databases and fundamental data modeling concepts.

• Experience or coursework in data cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques.

• Financial background or coursework is a plus.

• Strong curiosity, analytical mindset, and acute attention to detail.

• Ability to present technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical teammates.
