What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and maintain our core business systems, ensuring they are stable, secure and fit for purpose
- Manage relationships with IT and system vendors, ensuring service levels are met
- Work with internal teams to ensure our infrastructure supports operational needs
- Lead and deliver IT‑related projects, working closely with the projects team
- Oversee system integrations, ensuring smooth data flows and reliable processes
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost and enhance system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with suppliers when needed
- Contribute to long‑term planning for system improvements and technology development
- Ensure systems and suppliers meet regulatory, security and business requirements
- Support the management of our Quote & Buy journey
Skills and Requirements
- Experience in an IT or systems role within insurance or another regulated environment
- Good understanding of systems architecture, integrations and vendor‑supported platforms
- Strong knowledge of IT development
- Experience managing external IT suppliers or system providers
- Proven ability to deliver technology projects independently
- Comfortable balancing hands‑on problem solving with forward‑thinking planning
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with colleagues across the business
- Analytical mindset with a focus on efficiency, value and continuous improvement
