IT Project Coordinator

Description

TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Project Coordinator to support field-based IT initiatives across different site locations. This role will play a critical part in coordinating on-site technicians, ensuring data integrity, and driving consistency across system deployments and cleanup efforts. The ideal candidate has a technical background (preferably desktop support or field services) and thrives in fast-paced environments requiring strong organization, oversight, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities -

Technician Coordination:

Manage and monitor on-site technicians performing system updates, cleanups, or deployments

Ensure technicians adhere to schedules, arrive on time, and complete assigned tasks

Serve as the central point of contact for field teams, addressing issues and escalations in real time

Project Oversight & Execution:

Track progress of ongoing projects to ensure timelines and deliverables are met

Coordinate logistics and ensure proper resource allocation across multiple sites

Maintain clear documentation of project status, risks, and outcomes

Data Accuracy & System Integrity:

Verify the accuracy of system updates, configurations, and data entries

Identify discrepancies and drive resolution with technicians or internal teams

Support system cleanup initiatives to improve operational efficiency and data quality

Communication & Reporting:

Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and performance

Collaborate with IT, operations, and clinic teams to ensure smooth implementation

Escalate risks or delays proactively to leadership

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
