Position Summary

Creates and updates scheduling in IBM Workload Scheduler in the distributed and mainframe environments, per requested specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards and policies.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

• IBM Workload Scheduling for Mainframe and Distributed Systems
  • Build permanent scheduling definitions, including: calendars, resources, variables, and events.
  • Mainframe ad hoc scheduling support
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues as second level support.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Required Qualifications

• 1.5+ years experience in an IT role (e.g. Operations, Production Support, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support)
• 1.5+ years IBM Workload Scheduler z/OS scheduling experience
• 1.5+ years IBM Workload Scheduler Distributed scheduling experience
• Working knowledge in these technologies:
  • OS: UNIX, Linux, Mainframe, Windows Server
  • Protocols: Telnet, SFTP, TCP/IP
  • MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Careful attention to detail
• Customer focus

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with IWS, JES, JCL, MVS-TSO, ISPF/XEDIT, CLIST, IBM Utilities
• Familiarity with SAP application scheduling
• Working knowledge: Vi and Unix Shell scripting
• Familiarity with Tools/Apps:
  • Office 365
  • ServiceNow: change management, work request, and incident

Education

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
