Full remote within mainland Portugal only, full-time rotating shifts Monday–Sunday, 24/7 coverage.

   Дистанційна робота з будь-якого місця в Португалії з наданням послуг усного перекладу між українською та англійською мовами.

   Рівні Ukrainian C1 та English C1 є обов’язковими для забезпечення усної й письмової точності.

   Повна зайнятість зі змінним графіком, понеділок–неділя, 24/7, 5 робочих днів / 2 вихідні за ротацією (40 годин на тиждень).

   Потрібне громадянство ЄС або чинний дозвіл на роботу в Португалії.

   Надається початкове навчання.

2. SUMMARY (ENGLISH)

   Remote role from anywhere in Portugal, providing interpretation services between Ukrainian and English.

   Ukrainian C1 and English C1 are mandatory for oral and written accuracy.

   Full-time role with rotating shifts, Monday–Sunday, 24/7, 5 working days / 2 days off rotational (40 hours/week).

   EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit is required.

   Initial training provided.

3. MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION

A. IMPORTANT – READ BEFORE APPLYING

• Work mode: Remote (work from home) within Portugal

• Location scope: Candidates must be based in Portugal for this role

• Schedule: Full-time role with rotating shifts, Monday–Sunday, 24/7, 5 working days / 2 days off rotational, 40 hours/week

• Required languages: Ukrainian C1 Advanced and English C1 Advanced

• Entry-level environment: Structured procedures, quality targets, and performance goals apply

• Work authorization: EU citizenship or valid Portuguese work permit required

• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) required

B. ABOUT THE ROLE

• Provide consecutive interpretation between Ukrainian and English on live calls

• Maintain meaning, tone, and style while ensuring completeness and accuracy

• Follow caller instructions and manage call flow without taking over conversations

• Use approved customer service protocols and professional terminology across assigned domains

• Deliver strict renditions, including all relevant details from each conversation

C. DAILY TASKS

• Interpret live conversations from Ukrainian to English and English to Ukrainian with high accuracy

• Apply correct grammar, syntax, and register appropriate to context

• Follow call-flow guidance and comply with confidentiality and process requirements

• Use domain terminology in insurance, legal, and medical (general and forensic) contexts

• Document or tag call outcomes as required by internal procedures

D. CANDIDATE PROFILE

Mandatory requirements

• Ukrainian C1 Advanced (oral and written)

• English C1 Advanced (oral and written)

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

• EU citizenship or valid Portuguese work permit

• Ability to remain neutral and objective during sensitive conversations

• Strong listening, retention, and note-taking skills

• Availability for rotating shifts (24/7 coverage)

Nice to have

• Education in languages, translation, interpretation, or a related field

• Experience with interpretation or call-based support in regulated or sensitive contexts

• Familiarity with insurance, legal, and medical terminology

NOT A FIT IF

• Not based in Portugal

• Missing Ukrainian C1 or English C1

• Not available for rotating 24/7 shifts (including nights/weekends)

• Not eligible to work in Portugal (no EU citizenship / no valid Portuguese work permit)
