Integration Wave Manager

Position Overview:

The Integration Wave Manager serves as the Wave Leader responsible for executing and delivering multiple concurrent agency integrations within an assigned implementation wave. This role owns day-to-day wave execution, drives accountability across cross-functional workstreams, and ensures integrations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to organizational standards. Working closely with cross-functional workstreams, agency leadership, and executive stakeholders, the Integration Wave Manager leads execution from planning through go-live and stabilization, manages dependencies and risks, resolves issues, and ensures a consistent implementation experience across the wave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Wave Leader accountable for planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple agency integrations within an assigned implementation wave for Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits implementations. 
  • Develop and manage wave project schedules, critical paths, milestones, dependencies, and implementation timelines. 
  • Drive execution discipline across workstreams by clarifying priorities, tracking commitments, managing handoffs, and holding owners accountable for delivery. 
  • Monitor risks, issues, resource capacity, and project performance, driving timely resolution and escalation when needed. 
  • Partner with agency leadership, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment, readiness, and successful outcomes. 
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, project scope, and stage-gate compliance across the wave. 
  • Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure successful and consistent integration delivery. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, delivery efficiency, and client experience. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience leading complex implementation, integration, or transformation programs involving Property & Casualty and/or Employee Benefits operations.
  • Strong understanding of insurance agency operations, acquisition integration, operational workflows, and change management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute large-scale, enterprise implementation plans while managing multiple priorities, timelines, risks, and stakeholders across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven enterprise environment.
  • Experience partnering with agency leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and operational teams to drive successful implementation outcomes and organizational adoption.
  • Exceptional project/program management, organizational, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with experience delivering executive-level presentations and implementation updates to large audiences.
  • Expertise in project management and collaboration tools, i.e., Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Applied Epic, including enterprise software implementations, integrations, data conversions, or optimization initiatives.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25-50%.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law.

Remote Work Environment: Preference given to candidates in Eastern or Central U.S. time zones
