The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, obtaining necessary authorizations, and managing pre-certifications for infusion therapy. They also provide financial counseling to patients and maintain accurate documentation within the pharmacy business operating system.

POSTION OVERVIEW:
AOM Infusion is looking for an Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The Insurance Coordinator ensures that the patients' insurance covers treatment. Initiates and secures authorizations, pre-certifications, and/or predeterminations. Has excellent interpersonal skills and can successfully communicate with referral sources, sales staff, insurance carriers and operations team.
