Informatica Developer (KDSS)

About the role

Concept Plus is seeking an Informatics Developer to provide application system support for the USAF Financial platform. Responsible for developing and deploying all business intelligence system software application development across the development, test, pre-production/integration and production environments.

What you'll do

Core Technical Skills

• Data Integration & Analytics Architecture:
• • Design and optimize robust ETL pipelines specifically built to feed business-facing data warehouses and universes. This includes downstream BI semantic layers, and aligning Informatica targets to SAP.
• Database Development & Data Warehousing:
• • 5+ years of advanced database development utilizing Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL). Must possess deep expertise in performance tuning, complex SQL optimization, and indexing strategies to ensure Informatica mapping process high volumes efficiently for rapid reporting execution.
• Delivery & Collaboration:
• • Oversee Agile development (Scrum ceremonies, backlog management).
  • Communicate and solve data related problems as necessary.
• Budgeting & Planning Integration:
• • Extract data from or load data into enterprise performance management stacks like IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or similar enterprise budgeting tools.
• Security & Compliance:
• • Review Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and implement changes.
  • Resolve STIG findings and applying DoW security hardening.

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with Informatica (PowerCenter)
• 5+ years with Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning)
• Experience with Oracle APEX or similar low-code platforms for UI/data maintenance.
• Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server and HTTP Server (install, configure, patch).

Preferred Qualifications

• Tuning ETL workflows, database queries, and reporting dashboards
• Implementing monitoring and alerting data pipelines and application services
• Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket (or similar tools)
