About the role
Industrial companies run on contracts: supplier agreements, long-term commercial deals, energy and asset commitments, and the obligations that come with them. As an Industry Advisor – Industrial, you will help some of the world’s largest industrial organizations turn those contracts into measurable business results using Icertis Contract Intelligence and AI.
This is a hands-on advisory role. You will be the industry voice in strategic deals, sit across the table from senior executives, shape how Icertis goes to market in Industrial, and influence the product itself. You will use AI every day, and you will learn our platform well enough to show it yourself.
What you will do
Advise executives on strategic deals: partner with Sales and Solution Advisory to lead executive discovery, workshops and presentations, and turn customer priorities into value cases, business cases and transformation roadmaps.
Build the Industrial playbook: create reusable value frameworks, use cases, benchmarks, customer stories and executive conversation guides.
Lead the industry conversation: develop points of view on industry trends, regulation and emerging technology, and represent Icertis at conferences, webinars and executive briefings.
Build executive communities: create and lead roundtables, customer advisory boards and industry councils with senior leaders, partners and analysts.
Shape the product: bring customer and market insight to Product, Engineering and AI teams, and help build AI-enabled, industry-specific solutions.
Work AI-first: use AI daily for research, customer preparation, analysis and content, apply sound judgment to its output, and share what works with your peers.
Where you will focus
You will cover the broad industrial landscape, with depth in areas such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial equipment, chemicals, utilities, energy, oil and gas, mining, construction, engineering and industrial distribution. Customer priorities include procurement and supplier resilience, supply chain risk, commercial and channel contracting, revenue protection, compliance, M&A and ERP transformation, and responsible AI adoption.
What you will bring
10+ years in the industrial sector, enterprise software, management consulting, value engineering or business transformation.
Deep expertise in at least one industrial segment, and the range to engage credibly across adjacent ones.
Experience advising senior leaders such as General Counsel, CPOs, CFOs, COOs and supply chain or operations executives.
A track record of connecting industry challenges to measurable business outcomes and value.
Working knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) and the business processes around contracting.
Practical, current use of AI in your day-to-day work.
Comfort learning and demonstrating enterprise software, plus strong consultative selling, facilitation and storytelling skills.
A bachelor’s degree.
Nice to have
Experience with CLM, legal tech, procurement tech or ERP transformation; building ROI models and value frameworks; or working with global system integrators, analysts and industry associations. An advanced degree or relevant professional qualification.
Why you will love it here
Real influence: shape strategic deals, the Industrial go-to-market and the product roadmap.
Your industry, your voice: build your reputation through thought leadership, speaking and executive communities.
AI as a daily tool: work where AI is part of how the job gets done, not a side project.
Freedom to work remotely: work from anywhere in the US, with travel focused on customers and events that matter.
