Independent Financial Advisor

We are looking for a driven and client-focused Financial Advisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about helping clients grow, protect, and structure their financial future.

The successful candidate will provide holistic financial planning and build long-term client relationships through trusted advice and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
  
• Conduct financial needs analyses and develop long-term client relationships.
  
• Provide ongoing client servicing and regular financial reviews.
  

Financial Planning & Advice

• Provide holistic financial planning across investments, retirement, risk, and wealth protection.
  
• Develop and present tailored financial plans aligned to clients’ goals.
  
• Assist clients with retirement planning, wealth creation, and income protection strategies.
  

New Business & Implementation

• Prepare and submit new business applications.
  
• Ensure all documentation is compliant and complete.
  
• Work closely with the administration team to implement solutions efficiently.
  

Compliance & Professional Standards

• Adhere to FAIS and regulatory requirements.
  
• Maintain accurate client records and suitability documentation.
  
• Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and legislation.
  

Business Growth

• Identify opportunities to grow the client base and increase assets under management.
  
• Participate in marketing initiatives, networking, and referral generation.
  

Requirements

• RE5 qualification (essential or in progress).
  
• Relevant financial qualification (advantageous).
  
• Previous experience in financial services or advisory role preferred.
  
• Strong sales, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
