Incapacity Specialist - Comcare

Your role

Due to growth, we are excited to announce a new vacancy within our Self-Insurance Comcare team, joining the team to provide support to our dedicated Claims teams. This is a unique opportunity to further develop your career and lend your experience to build and grow the technical expertise as we continue to grow in the current market.

Reporting to the Team Manager, this position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis with the flexibility of a hybrid approach with WFH and in our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne CBD offices or we are also open to remote workers. We also offer the flexibility of a 9-day compressed working fortnight or a monthly RDO.

Additionally, you will:

• Advise and provide technical support in the calculation and determination of wage and compensation decisions
• Implement arising from periodic indexation, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, and changes in employment circumstances
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including case managers, clients and, where required, legal or regulatory representatives
• Participate in key business projects and initiatives

We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate and customer-centric individuals who have:

• Experience in technical or case management roles within a SRC Act Comcare environment, with demonstrated experience in the calculation of wages or NWE
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of organisation
• A strategic mindset and approach to work
• A strong sense of team and collaboration
• A resilient attitude
