Role Summary:
As an Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of implementation projects, from initial scoping to go-live. This includes proactive project planning, risk management, technical implementation oversight, and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders to ensure successful go live and project outcomes.
What you’ll do:
Own strategy and execution for high-complexity implementation projects, ensuring on-time and in-scope delivery for EHR integrations with various healthcare systems.
Own overall project management work across cross-functional internal and external workstreams - meeting coordination/artifacts, project documentation, issue/risks logs, project plans, etc..
Lead technical project deliverables, including discovery discussions, data source validation, and consultative guidance around data architecture and integrations.
Partner with clients and internal teams to align implementation plans with business objectives and long-term success metrics.
Anticipate and mitigate risks proactively, developing contingency plans and guiding cross-functional teams through critical issue resolution.
Lead cross-functional collaboration and information-sharing, navigating priorities across internal teams (engineering, product, customer success) and external stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvement and scalability, creating playbooks, templates, and best practices to enhance the implementation methodology.
Who you are:
5+ years of experience in implementation/project management, preferably in healthcare/clinical trials and/or enterprise software, ideally involving the integration and use of large data sets
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to develop and execute detailed project plans, define project scope, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
Experience using project management and product development tools (e.g., Monday.com/Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence).
Start-up work experience and/or desire, aptitude, and willingness to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes
High degree of responsiveness, reliability, accountability and integrity.
Adaptability and a growth mindset: The AI field is rapidly evolving, so a willingness to learn new technologies and approaches is essential.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Nice to Have
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Knowledge of interoperability between health system EHRs and 3rd party applications, including but not limited to: HL7, FHIR APIs, and electronic data warehouse extracts
Familiarity with SQL for running existing queries and making minor modifications.
Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and GCP/ICH guidelines for clinical trial management.
Experience working with Healthcare systems, esource or EDC systems
