About the role

CrucialLogics seeking a HyperCare Consultant (Entra ID), for our remote team working out of India.

Our company is currently in the process of expanding our managed services offerings. The user base is split between Windows and Mac operating systems and you will need familiarity with both.

What you'll do

• To be the first point of contact for a user base with varying levels of technical skill.
• Ensuring the best possible experience for users through efficient and personable communication.
• Supporting a mixed Windows and MacOS environment with a standard set of business-related peripherals to go along with them.
• Administration and upkeep of an Office 365 environment.
• Administration and upkeep of Active Directory via physical servers and Azure VMs.
• Intune Administration and upkeep.
• Keeping technical documentation up to date.
• Logging issues in company ticketing system.
• Following established MAC policies.
• Being Amazing!!!  

  • Active Directory Management:
    • Design, implement, and manage Windows Active Directory environments, including domain controllers, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and replication topology.
    • Maintain and optimize Active Directory services, including DNS, DHCP, and AD Sites and Services.
    • Manage and troubleshoot AD forests, domains, trusts, and OU structures.
    • Ensure secure and compliant AD operations, implementing best practices for user and group management.
  • Azure Active Directory:
    • Manage and maintain Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, conditional access policies, and role-based access control (RBAC).
    • Implement and support hybrid identity solutions, including Azure AD Connect, and manage synchronization and federation services.
    • Configure and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and identity protection features in Azure AD.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure AD services and connectivity issues.
  • Microsoft Certificate Authority:
    • Design, deploy, and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions using Microsoft Certificate Authority.
    • Manage digital certificates, including issuance, renewal, and revocation processes.
    • Ensure secure and compliant certificate management practices, including certificate templates, auto-enrollment, and key archival.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve certificate-related issues for users and services.
  • Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS):
    • Design and implement Azure IaaS solutions, including virtual networks, virtual machines, and storage accounts.
    • Manage Azure resource groups, subscriptions, and billing.
    • Configure and optimize Azure VM performance, security, and high availability.
    • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure.
    • Monitor and maintain Azure IaaS environments, including performance tuning and cost optimization.

Qualifications



  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-7 years of experience managing Windows Active Directory environments.
    • Proven experience with Azure AD and hybrid identity management.
    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Certificate Authority and PKI solutions.
    • Strong background in Azure IaaS, including VM management, networking, and storage.
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of Active Directory architecture, replication, and security best practices.
    • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
    • Knowledge of network protocols, DNS, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
    • Familiarity with cloud security principles and identity protection mechanisms.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
