Job Purpose

As an English to Hungarian Translator at RWS Group, your primary objective is to facilitate effective communication by providing accurate and culturally relevant translations from English into Hungarian. Your role is essential to our commitment to delivering high-quality language solutions to our clients.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Translation Expertise: Precisely translate a wide array of content, including documents, texts, and materials, while preserving the original meaning, style, and tone.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Exhibit advanced proficiency in both Hungarian and English, with a deep understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural sensitivities in both languages.
• Contextual Adaptation: Customize translations to suit the specific industry or subject matter, maintaining precision and fluency in specialized domains.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough self-reviews and quality checks to ensure translations meet the highest standards, aligning with or exceeding client expectations.
• Research and Terminology: Keep abreast of industry-specific terminology and jargon, conducting research as needed to provide accurate translations.
• Effective Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, editors, and subject matter experts to clarify context, resolve queries, and ensure the final translation meets client requirements.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Apply cultural awareness to ensure translations are contextually appropriate and culturally sensitive for the target audience.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in translation, particularly from English to Hungarian.
• A deep understanding of industry-specific terminology and subject matter expertise is highly advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to linguistic and cultural differences.
• Willingness to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
