This temporary full-time position is expected to begin in September and continue through August 2027.

Your Pay and Perks Package:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations and Corrective Action
Serve as a trusted HR advisor; guide managers and employees through employee relations matters, workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and investigations while recommending effective resolutions.
Lead the full corrective action process, including coaching, written warnings, suspensions, and terminations, ensuring consistent application of policies and sound decision-making.
Manage employee relations documentation, tracking logs, resignations, and involuntary separations while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Leave Administration and Accommodations
Administer FMLA cases from initiation to return to work
Coordinate leave of absence programs and employee communications
Manage ADA accommodation requests and the interactive process
Worker's Compensation and Unemployment
Manage and monitor worker's compensation claims and coordinate with employees, managers, carriers and third-party administrators
Process unemployment claims and respond to unemployment agency requests
HR Operations and Compliance
Process employment verification requests
Maintain employee records, electronic personnel files, and departmental filing systems
Conduct file audits to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements
Manage new hire file checklists and employee documentation processes
Reporting and Special Projects
Prepare HR reports, metrics and compliance documentation
Track employee recognition and positive client feedback initiatives
ARE YOU A MATCH?

Previous experience working remotely
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
3+ years of Human Resources experience, including hands-on employee relations support and guidance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Outlook, and Excel
Working knowledge of FMLA and the ADA accommodation process
Familiarity with Worker's Compensation and Unemployment Administration
Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately
Ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
