We want you to:

  • Ensure exceptional onboarding experiences for new joiners in the UK office and remotely
  • Guarantee smooth and effective offboarding processes for team members in UK
  • Supports all stages of the employee lifecycle for UK employees, including performance management and career development.
  • Co-ordinate employee benefits such as health insurance and leave policies, in line with UK standards and regulations. 
  • Effectively advise and coach managers and employees on leave requests/issues, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters ensuring fair treatment, legal compliance, and adherence to Emergn practices/policies and labour legislation for UK. 
  • Work closely with our UK location leads.
  • Develop, implement and update HR Policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across UK.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee data (contract information, salaries, absences, promotions, etc.) using our HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software, ensuring data privacy at all times.
  •  Deal with and respond to various HR queries and requests regarding HR issues, rules and regulations through our HR ticket system and HR email related to UK HR matters.


This job might be for you if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a HR Generalist for UK (experience with US would be an advantage.)
  • CIPD Membership (L5 or L7)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with HRIS, Payroll processes and other HR tools for data management and reporting.
  • Ability to build relationships, handle sensitive situations, and manage employee relations effectively
  • Well-developed interpersonal, collaboration and teaming skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Accuracy in managing HR data, compliance and employee records
  • A problem-solving mindset, with ability to work cross-functionally to understand and describe the problem and propose solutions to resolve workplace challenges
  • An affirmed understanding of HR best practice and labour legislation for UK (US in addition would be an advantage.)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
