POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Recruiter to the Plant Human Resources Manager and is remote supporting our Seabrook, NJ or Hendersonville, NC location. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end recruiting cycle for our manufacturing facility. The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for leading all talent acquisition initiatives, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing individuals to fill open positions in the Seabrook, NJ or Hendersonville, NC location. This position will work with each site Human Resources Manager to facilitate interview experience for candidates.  

 


Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Plant Leaders to assess, diagnose, plan, create, and implement strategic recruiting strategy
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand the roles that are being recruited for
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for both internal and external candidates.
  • Network to build applicant sources through employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
  • Determines qualified applicants by conducting prescreens interviews, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements. Schedules interviews with locations for these qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate with staffing agency on temporary roles and temp-to-perm positions
  • Develop job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. 
  • Maintains all pertinent applicants and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensures all candidates are updated as they move through the process. Guarantees all compliance requirements are met through the ATS
  • Oversee pre-hire process of background checks and employment verification checks
  • Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. 
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field 
  • 3-4 years’ related experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven organization skills
  • Experience with web recruitment tools like: LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, etc.
  • Experience utilizing social media for talent acquisition 
  • Working knowledge of Application Tracking Systems (ADP preferably)

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of HR laws, employment law and policies 
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships. 
  • Must have excellent time management skills

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

 

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.

 

FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.

 

OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 – 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.

 

VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.

 

HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
