At Huron, we help healthcare organizations transform their digital capabilities to improve clinical and financial outcomes. As a Senior Director, you will be responsible for leading complex healthcare technology engagements, with a primary focus on MEDITECH implementations, Expanse migrations, optimization initiatives, and large-scale transformation programs. You will serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, drive successful project outcomes, contribute to business development activities, and provide leadership to consulting teams and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive leader accountable for the successful delivery of large-scale MEDITECH implementations, migrations, upgrades, and optimization engagements, including oversight of scope, budget, timeline, quality, and client outcomes.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive and operational stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on MEDITECH, healthcare technology transformation, governance, and organizational readiness.

  • Lead program planning, governance, risk management, staffing, and execution across multiple workstreams while ensuring alignment to client objectives and measurable results.

  • Provide subject matter expertise related to MEDITECH applications, workflows, system integration, implementation methodologies, and operational best practices.

  • Direct, coach, and develop project teams while fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment focused on accountability, client service, and professional growth.

  • Partner with client leadership to assess challenges, develop solutions, and drive adoption of technology-enabled improvements across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle functions.

  • Contribute to practice growth through participation in sales pursuits, solution development, recruiting, thought leadership, and internal capability-building initiatives.

  • Leverage industry relationships and executive presence to identify new opportunities, expand client partnerships, and represent Huron as a trusted advisor within the healthcare technology market.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of healthcare technology consulting, program leadership, or healthcare IT experience.

  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise MEDITECH implementations, Expanse migrations, optimization initiatives, or large-scale healthcare technology transformations.

  • Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs and developing relationships with executive and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, revenue cycle processes, and healthcare technology ecosystems.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Current U.S. work authorization required.

  • 75% travel to client sites.

The estimated base salary for this job is $190,000 - $250,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $247,000 - $325,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
