Responsibilities

 

Position Objective:

 

The Health Plan Liaison is an administrative role, and is responsible for enhancing the relationship between Better Health Group and our Health Plan representatives. The incumbent will report to the Mgr Core Ops (or similar role).

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Facilitate Health Plan onboarding and support service area expansions

  • Support annual AEP process

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to ensure successful completion of various items, such as AEP Process, onboarding Health Plans, etc.

  • Create, update, and maintain Health Plan Resources documents and quick reference guides

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving PCP office-specific issues

  • Cultivate strong, positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Support Credentialing team with Provider Office Maintenance

  • Support Health Plan Joint Operations Committees, keeping all stakeholders aware of agenda and action items

  • Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements/ Skills:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare related environment

  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time

  • Communicating with others to exchange information

  • Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands, and/or fingers

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned

  • Must be able to lift at least 15lbs at times

Pay Range
