Health Insurance Researcher - temporary

International Fertility Insurance is seeking temporary employees to help with health insurance research during the coming open enrollment period.

 Hourly Rate of Pay:  $18-22/hr 

 Estimated schedule:  

 September:   Onboarding, training, team sessions – Approximately 10 hours a week

October:    Research on individual cases, administrative tasks - hours and availability will be worked out per employee with the needs of the department manager.

November through mid-January: 25-40 hours a week depending on role. Flexibility may be offered on times and days.

What you’ll do:

• Conducting plan research on multiple insurance databases to find suitable marketplace ACA health insurance that will be reviewed by the team checking for surrogacy-friendly coverage.
• Updating internal databases with changes from the previous year and new plan offerings as new accounts objects.
• Assists in a supporting, administrative role with processing requests from the Sales team for agency referrals, plus individual applications for coverage.

• Clear written & verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Can-do attitude and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using multiple software programs simultaneously
• Experience with the Microsoft Suite

 Additional skills desired but not required: 

• Salesforce CRM experience
• Experience with Microsoft Teams & SharePoint
• Knowledgeable about health insurance
• Ability to work on two computer screens simultaneously
