Opportunity Awaits, Apply Today! – Health Care Market Oversight (HCMO) Policy Analyst (OPA2) LIMITED DURATION 17 months
The Health Care Market Oversight (HCMO) Policy Analyst supports the program’s statutory responsibility to review proposed transactions involving health care entities. The role focuses on gathering and analyzing information from multiple sources, synthesizing findings using the program’s analytic framework, and developing recommendations, reports, and other public-facing materials for each transaction review.
This position also supports communication, outreach, and project management activities related to transaction reviews, and contributes to broader program work such as annual reports and guidance documents. The Policy Analyst helps identify and implement process improvements as the program evolves.
Work is completed as part of a multidisciplinary team led by an Operations & Policy Analyst 4, with support from research, economics, legal counsel, and subject matter experts across OHA, DCBS, and external partners as needed.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration.
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification
