About the Role

At OnTrack, we create solutions that drive performance, capability and business growth. The Head of Product Commercialisation is responsible for identifying, developing, positioning and scaling products that create value for clients and generate sustainable revenue for the business.

Sitting at the intersection of innovation, commercial strategy and marketing, this role transforms ideas, intellectual property, tools, methodologies and client solutions into propositions that are distinctive, commercially attractive, scalable and easy to buy, to enhance our facilitation experiences and also be purchased for client independent use.

 

Role purpose

Lead the full product commercialisation journey: identify opportunities, shape the proposition, create the route to market, scale delivery and drive measurable commercial success.

 

Key Responsibilities

Product Commercialisation & Proposition Development

  • Transform products, intellectual property, tools, methodologies and delivery assets into compelling commercial propositions.
  • Create clear value propositions, messaging and positioning that communicate client benefits, business impact and return on investment.
  • Turn complex concepts and expertise into language that is engaging, commercially attractive and easy for clients to understand and buy.
  • Develop proposition frameworks, pricing models and go-to-market strategies that support revenue growth.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to convert knowledge and successful client solutions into repeatable commercial oHerings.
  • Identify opportunities to package bespoke client engagements into scalable products and
  • Lead internal project teams to develop and build these solutions based upon expertise in desired tool build.
  • Build and lead a team of external team members in a commercial manner to build technical


Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Lead market intelligence activity to identify emerging trends, client challenges, competitor activity and future growth , through identifying gaps in creating engaging experiences in our current and future world
  • Gather insight from clients, prospects and the wider market to inform product development and commercial decisions.
  • Partner with the Creative Team to identify portfolio and market gaps, creating unique and diHerentiated products, tools and solutions.
  • Challenge existing thinking and explore innovative ways to increase client value and market
  • Evaluate the commercial performance and relevance of existing products, recommending improvements where required.


Scalable Products & Self-Service Solutions

  • Identify tools, frameworks and resources used once or twice in client delivery that have the potential to become scalable commercial products.
  • Convert successful one-oH or bespoke solutions into repeatable, market-ready
  • Lead the development of self-service and digital-first products that extend reach, improve client access and create new revenue streams.
  • Build product roadmaps that balance innovation, client demand, investment and commercial
  • Create scalable product models that protect quality and client impact while reducing dependency on bespoke delivery.


Commercial Activation & Market Growth

  • Identify commercial opportunities to market, promote and showcase products and tools across target markets.
  • Develop and execute product launch plans, campaigns and commercialisation strategies, including social media and LinkedIn
  • Identify and shape client event opportunities, including webinars, roundtables, showcases and thought leadership activity, to generate awareness, engagement and
  • Create practical sales and marketing tools, including proposition guides, playbooks, launch packs, case studies, pitch decks, product guides, digital assets and commercial
  • Work closely with Creative, Marketing, Client Engagement teams to build pipeline, increase adoption and maximise commercial return.
  • Ensure products are clearly diHerentiated and consistently positioned in the


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate across all teams to deliver successful product
  • Act as the central point of coordination for product commercialisation
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders to understand needs, test ideas and gather feedback.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, scalability and commercial


Performance & Revenue Growth

  • Own commercial performance measures across the product
  • Monitor product adoption, client engagement, revenue generation and profitability.
  • Use performance insight to improve propositions, routes to market and commercial
  • Identify growth opportunities and new revenue streams across existing and future
  • Provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior

Skills & Experience Essential

  • Significant experience in product commercialisation, product management, business development or commercial
  • A proven track record of taking products, services or propositions to market
  • Strong commercial and financial
  • Experience developing compelling value propositions, pricing approaches and go-to-market
  • The ability to identify and convert market opportunities into revenue-generating solutions.
  • Excellent communication, proposition writing, presentation and storytelling
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, analytical and problem-solving


Desirable

  • Experience in leadership development, learning, consultancy, coaching or professional
  • Experience creating digital, self-service or subscription-based
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled products and emerging learning
  • Experience scaling intellectual property into commercially successful

Reports to: CEO Location: Remote

Travel: Occasional UK and international travel as required
