About the Role:

We are hiring a hands-on Head of Product to own product direction, roadmap, feature definition, acceptance, and customer enablement. You will work closely with the Head of Engineering to take customer problems through discovery, delivery, and adoption, using AI to help a small team achieve exceptional speed and quality. You will be expected to produce specifications and prototypes, test workflows, and assess product results directly.

What You Will Own:

• Set product direction, priorities, and scope within agreed business goals and budget.

• Translate customer needs into complete workflows, clear specifications, acceptance criteria, and measurable success outcomes.

• Use AI for research synthesis, prototyping, feature definition, product documentation, and acceptance work.

• Own usability and product acceptance, including error and permission states, onboarding, guidance, and adoption.

• Resolve scope and delivery trade-offs with Engineering and communicate progress through demonstrated customer outcomes.

• Continuously evaluate the product, identify gaps, and turn customer feedback into actionable product improvements.

What You Bring

• Proven experience taking commerce, SaaS, marketplace, or operational products from customer problems through to shipped and adopted workflows.

• Strong discovery, prioritization, specification, and product measurement skills, with clear examples of product trade-offs you've made.

• Hands-on AI proficiency, with the ability to personally produce and evaluate useful prototypes, specifications, workflows, and acceptance materials.

• Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to challenge assumptions, test products thoroughly, and distinguish activity from genuine customer value.

• Experience working closely with Engineering and the ability to operate independently within a small, fast-moving team.

• Strong understanding of user experience, onboarding, product adoption, and workflow design.

AI-Assisted Product Work

AI-assisted product work is mandatory. You must be able to demonstrate how you use AI to improve your speed, quality, research, prototyping, and product output while retaining full responsibility for problem selection, product quality, and customer outcomes.

First 90 Days

During your first 90 days, you will be expected to:

• Establish a clear product baseline and identify key opportunities and gaps.

• Define and agree on launch scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria.

• Demonstrate complete, high-quality priority workflows.

• Establish onboarding, feedback, and product adoption processes.

• Partner closely with Engineering to ensure migration and delivery readiness.

• Develop a credible pilot and rollout plan based on measurable customer outcomes.
