This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact transformation projects, delivering premium office environments that support our growth ambitions while creating exceptional experiences for colleagues, customers and partners.

Your mission

As our Head of Local Office Transformation, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of new and transformed local office locations, from property acquisition through to successful launch. You'll combine strategic project leadership with commercial awareness to ensure every location is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working across multiple functions and with external partners, you'll play a key role in building a scalable, future-ready local office network that reflects the Awaze brand and supports our long-term growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of local office transformation projects from site completion through to operational handover, travelling extensively across the UK with regular overnight stays.

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and governance across multiple concurrent programmes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on schedule.

  • Manage contractors, suppliers and external partners to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.

  • Monitor capital expenditure, forecast costs and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance without compromising quality.

  • Ensure every location meets brand standards, operational requirements and delivers an outstanding experience for colleagues, homeowners and guests.

  • Lead project risk management, proactively resolving issues and providing clear stakeholder communication throughout each project.

  • Coordinate opening readiness activities, including technology, facilities, operational setup and launch planning.

  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve transformation processes to support future growth.

Who we're looking for

You'll thrive in this role if you're an experienced project leader who enjoys delivering complex transformation programmes, building strong stakeholder relationships and creating practical solutions that drive business value.

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong project management expertise, including planning, governance, risk management and multi-project delivery.

  • Excellent financial management skills with experience controlling capital budgets, forecasting and commercial negotiations.

  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers and third-party partners to agreed quality, safety and delivery standards.

  • Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence working across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

  • Bonus points if you have experience within hospitality, retail, property or facilities management environments, hold a relevant project management qualification, or have experience within the travel & tourism industry.

How you'll make an impact

  • Deliver transformation projects that open on schedule and within approved investment budgets.

  • Create premium office environments that reflect Awaze's brand standards and enhance the experience for homeowners, guests and colleagues.

  • The ability to lead complex programmes with multiple stakeholders, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

  • Build strong partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive efficient, high-quality delivery.

  • Support strategic growth by enabling successful office openings with minimal operational disruption.

  • Embed continuous improvement by capturing project learnings and enhancing future delivery standards.

Worth knowing

This is a full-time, fixed-term role for 6 months, starting in September. While the role is advertised as remote, this is a highly mobile position. You'll spend a lot of your time travelling to Awaze locations across the UK to support the opening of new offices. This includes regular travel, frequent overnight stays, and working from a variety of locations, so flexibility and a willingness to travel extensively are essential.
