*Role Purpose

Lead a professional, approachable Client Delivery Team that is engaged, open to new ideas and committed to delivering exceptional service. Working alongside Ashbury’s Technical, Regulatory and Client Services specialists, ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate compliance services that keep clients’ products safe and legally compliant.

Build strong client relationships, identify commercial opportunities and deliver against agreed targets, while providing strategic direction, leadership and management across the Client Delivery Team.



Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Direction

  • Lead and influence compliance delivery teams, providing clear regulatory strategy across the client portfolio.
  • Provide senior technical and regulatory leadership for key accounts.
  • Lead client accounts with strong commercial awareness and accountability for delivery, profitability and growth.
  • Set team objectives, KPIs, budgets and targets aligned to the business plan.
  • Provide direct and indirect leadership across regulatory, commercial and client-facing teams.
  • Support and contribute to relevant strategic business initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across functions, teams and organisational levels.



Compliance & Regulatory Service Delivery

  • Ensure technical, regulatory and artwork services are delivered to agreed standards, scopes and ways of working.
  • Ensure Advisors are competent to provide appropriate technical and regulatory advice across relevant clients and markets.
  • Implement effective processes, appropriate resourcing and best-practice approaches to support consistent service delivery.
  • Monitor service quality and team competency, identifying and implementing training and development plans.
  • Ensure issues, challenges and non-conformances are identified, escalated and resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement in compliance, quality and service delivery.



Planning & Resource Management

  • Lead forecasting across the client portfolio in collaboration with the relevant teams.
  • Identify and manage capacity, resource and project-volume risks.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop practical solutions to changing demand.
  • Optimise the allocation of people, time and budget to meet operational and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor resource performance and productivity.



Performance Management

  • Establish clear performance goals, KPIs and targets for individuals and teams.
  • Regularly monitor performance against objectives and business-plan requirements.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive, timely feedback.
  • Implement improvement plans where required.
  • Identify capability and skills gaps and coordinate appropriate training, coaching and development.
  • Ensure team roles, responsibilities and objectives are clearly defined and aligned with business priorities.



Process Optimisation

  • Analyse workflows and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement best practices that improve efficiency, service quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Drive process improvements that increase productivity and profitability.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and resources and take corrective action where required.



Commercial Accountabilities

  • Ensure client services are delivered in accordance with commercial agreements and within profitable parameters.
  • Monitor account performance against agreed budgets, targets and commercial objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for new business, account development and expansion into new markets or service areas.
  • Implement efficiency initiatives that improve departmental profitability.
  • Balance client needs, service quality and commercial outcomes.



Client & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensure an effective, measurable client contact matrix forms part of each relevant business plan and is actively managed.
  • Build trusted partnerships by connecting Ashbury’s capabilities with clients’ business needs.
  • Establish strong relationships across multiple functions and levels within key client organisations.
  • Develop credibility and influence with senior client stakeholders, consistently seeking a strategic “seat at the top table”.
  • Build client confidence, trust and advocacy to support retention and growth.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for technical, regulatory and compliance matters.



Team Management & Development

  • Ensure team members understand their roles, responsibilities, objectives and KPIs.
  • Align individual and team responsibilities with the wider business plan.
  • Mentor, coach and support direct reports, encouraging professional development and high performance.
  • Establish effective daily, weekly and monthly communication routines.
  • Create a positive, collaborative team culture where people are empowered to contribute ideas and continuously improve.
