Why Hertility? 🚀

Hertility was born out of a need for preventative, personalised and dedicated expert healthcare across a woman’s hormonal lifespan. Hertility’s at-home diagnostic testing, telemedicine, treatments, prescriptions, and clinical services provide advanced insights into reproductive health, fertility decline, and the onset of menopause, as well as the diagnosis of 18 conditions. Hertility reduces diagnosis times for some conditions from nine years to six days.

Having done over 29 clinical studies and published in leading scientific journals and presented at over 25 National and International scientific and clinical conferences, Hertility is committed to expanding its research and clinical programmes, deepening our understanding of reproductive health and influencing policy.

By setting a new standard of scientific rigour and education in women’s health, we’re nurturing the Mother of all Movements. One powered by a new generation of women backing themselves, their bodies and their life choices, from menstruation through menopause.

Why You’ll Love This Role 💖

As our Head of Growth, you'll play an integral role in our growing company. We're looking for a commercially driven growth leader to own Hertility's direct-to-consumer revenue growth across our testing, clinical services, subscriptions and app products. You'll be accountable for customer acquisition, conversion, retention and customer lifetime value, ensuring we continue to scale efficiently whilst delivering exceptional experiences for our customers.

This is a hands on leadership role. You'll lead an in house team and manage our growth contractors and agency relationships, owning the customer journey from awareness through to retention and advocacy. You'll be accountable for the commercial performance of the DTC business, including acquisition efficiency, conversion, retention, LTV and contribution margin.

You'll work closely with Product, Clinical, Commercial and Brand teams to identify opportunities across customer experience, pricing, packaging, positioning and new product launches. You'll be responsible for balancing short-term revenue growth with long-term brand building, ensuring Hertility continues to grow sustainably.

If you're passionate about making a difference in women's health and want to build a growth engine that's ready to scale internationally, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing 🌟

Customer Acquisition Strategy & Execution:

  • Own the end-to-end customer acquisition plan aligned to commercial growth targets.

  • Develop and execute full-funnel marketing campaigns across web and channels, including, but not limited to, paid social (Meta, TikTok), paid search (Google), partnerships, affiliate, influencer, and emerging channels.

  • Plan and manage marketing budgets, optimising for efficiency (CAC), volume, and LTV potential.

  • Identify new customer acquisition opportunities through channel testing, audience insights, and experimentation.

Performance & Growth Marketing:

  • Own and lead the acquisition channel strategy, assessing and recommending opportunities across owned, earned, and paid media.

  • Collaborate with channel owners, contractors and creative teams to align on business objectives and ensure delivery against acquisition KPIs.

  • Drive improvements in conversion from awareness to purchase by partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, CRM, Clinical, and Research teams, testing and rolling out optimisations in messaging, customer journey, pricing, and UX.

  • Use performance data and customer insights to continually optimise campaigns, forecast funnels, and shape future acquisition strategy.

  • Contribute to the growth marketing model in partnership with the VP of Commercial, activating key pillars like performance loops, experiments, and BAU initiatives across the funnel.

Retention, Lifecycle & Customer Value:

  • Partner with CRM, Product, Marketing and Clinical teams to improve customer retention, repeat purchase behaviour, engagement and customer lifetime value.

  • Working with our Retention Product Marketing Manager, own key lifecycle metrics including repeat purchase rate, subscription conversion, churn and LTV.

  • Identify opportunities to increase customer value through new products, services, care pathways and customer journeys.

  • Develop strategies to improve customer loyalty, advocacy and referral performance across the Hertility ecosystem.

Experimentation & Growth Innovation:

  • Lead a high-velocity experimentation programme across creative, landing pages, pricing, offers, channels and lifecycle journeys.

  • Test and validate new acquisition channels, growth loops and emerging opportunities to unlock scalable growth.

  • Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous optimisation, balancing data with commercial judgement and customer insight.

Budget & Reporting:

  • Own the combined brand and growth budget, managing the split across paid, owned and earned channels with clear ROI accountability, deliberately balancing performance spend against long-term brand investment.

  • Deliver accurate, timely reporting on acquisition funnel metrics, channel performance and unit economics to the VP of Growth and Founders, with a clear view on what's working, what isn't, and what's next.

Data, Attribution & AI

  • Use customer, behavioural and clinical insights to identify growth opportunities and improve decision-making.

  • Partner with data teams to improve attribution, forecasting, measurement frameworks and customer segmentation.

  • Leverage AI tools and automation to improve marketing efficiency, campaign performance, creative testing and operational scalability.

  • Own reporting across acquisition, conversion, retention and revenue metrics, providing clear visibility on performance and opportunities.

Team & Contractors:

  • Line-manage a small in-house team; setting direction, coaching, developing and prioritising against business goals.

  • Manage and performance-manage our growth contractors and agencies across paid social, PPC, data, CRM, affiliates and podcast, briefing specialists effectively and holding them to clear ROI metrics.

Brand & Product Partnership:

  • Partner closely with Brand on product positioning and messaging, owned jointly across the two functions, and on the balance between performance and brand activity.

  • Lead go-to-market and communication plans for new product and feature launches aimed at customer acquisition.

  • Feed acquisition and customer insight into brand, product and commercial decisions.

All employees are required to work in alignment with Hertility’s Quality Management System and ensure their activities support compliance with ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) and ISO 27001 (ISMS), including following controlled processes, maintaining accurate records, and participating in required training.

What We’re Looking For 🎯

You’ll thrive if you’re passionate about fertility and reproductive health and bring:

📜 Relevant Experience: 5+ years in DTC growth marketing, ideally in health, wellness or subscription consumer, with a strong track record in customer acquisition and conversion.

🛠️ Hands-On Across Channels: Experience across paid social, PPC, SEO and CRM and able to brief and manage specialist contractors and agencies.

📊 Commercially Analytical: Strong experience owning revenue targets, CAC, LTV, payback periods and contribution margin, with the ability to turn insights into action.

📈 Attribution & Measurement Expertise: Deep understanding of marketing effectiveness, attribution, incrementality testing, forecasting and performance measurement.

🚀 Experimentation Mindset: Proven experience running structured growth experiments and identifying new opportunities for scalable growth.

🌍 Scaling Experience: Experience supporting growth across multiple markets, products or customer segments is highly desirable.

👥 People Leadership: Experience in line-managing a small team alongside external agency and contractor relationships.

🎨 Brand-Literate & Creatively Sensitive: You understand how brand equity is built and measured, and the mechanics and time horizons of brand activity. You believe in both immediate acquisition ROI and long-term brand effectiveness, and can be trusted to find the right balance and budget split.

🧭 Data-Driven but Instinctive: You use data wherever it's reliable, but you know when the numbers, especially polls and surveys, don't tell the whole story, and you bring judgment to consumer behaviour and creative.

💬 Curious & Open-Minded: You take calculated risks on new channels or formats when they can genuinely move the business, and you're happy to challenge and be challenged without being precious about your own opinions.

💛 Mission-Driven: A genuine passion for women's health and Hertility's mission.

Success in This Role 🎯

Within your first 12 months you will:

  • Deliver sustainable DTC revenue growth whilst maintaining healthy acquisition economics.

  • Improve customer acquisition efficiency and diversify acquisition channels.

  • Increase conversion rates across key customer journeys and product lines.

  • Improve retention, repeat-purchase behaviour, and customer lifetime value.

  • Build scalable reporting, forecasting and experimentation frameworks.

  • Successfully support the launch and growth of new Hertility products, services and international market opportunities.
