Head of Engineering

ZEXTER is a technology company developing its own full-stack platform for the digital entertainment and iGaming ecosystem. We build scalable technology solutions for operators, creators, and digital businesses, helping them launch, manage, scale and monetize their products more efficiently.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead the technical direction of our B2B iGaming platform and build a scalable, multi-tenant technology ecosystem.

You will work closely with Product and Business teams, lead backend and frontend engineering, and establish the technical foundations for scaling across multiple brands, markets and geographies.

Responsibilities:

• Own the platform architecture of an iGaming platform, including White Label and TurnKey solutions, tenant isolation, branding, configurations, roles, limits, billing and APIs.

• Design and evolve integrations with game aggregators, PSPs, KYC/AML, CRM, bonus, risk/fraud, reporting and backoffice systems.

• Stay hands-on with engineering.

• Ensure scalability, reliability, performance and security.

• Lead and grow backend and frontend engineering teams.

• Drive technical strategy together with Product and Business.

• Build an AI-first engineering culture from the ground up.

• Measure and scale the impact of AI, experimenting with new tools and workflows, developing internal AI capabilities and training engineering teams.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of engineering experience.

• Strong experience designing B2B multi-tenant platforms.

• Strong hands-on backend expertise with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis and RabbitMQ, plus solid understanding of React / Next.js, REST / GraphQL and WebSockets.

• Strong infrastructure and cloud expertise with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS, GCP or Azure, with a focus on scalability, reliability, observability and security.

• Proven experience in iGaming.

• Experience leading both backend and frontend teams, including hiring, team development, delivery processes and technical strategy.

• Practical experience with AI/LLM adoption.

• English and Russian B2+
